Your Event at St. Mark’s

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is an inclusive congregation that welcomes everyone.

Our campus is conveniently located on 16th Street just east of Euclid Avenue in Upland, California. The church building has modern open architectural features that include a high-pitched wood-beam ceiling, bands of gold stained-glass behind the altar, a tile floor, seating on wooden pews, and a beautiful mosaic in the center aisle.

The parish hall architecture mirrors the structure of the sanctuary with a high-pitched roof, flooring suitable for dining and dancing, and a custom mosaic cross wall hanging. The adjoining kitchen is available for organizing food and beverage service. An outdoor patio next to the hall offers additional space during pleasant weather.

An outdoor grass courtyard is also available for al fresco seating and dining. The adjoining terraces offer a multilevel space for ceremonies or cocktails. There are also a smaller meeting room and the outdoor soccer field. This variety of spaces will provide a pleasant backdrop for your wedding, quinceañera, birthday or anniversary party, retreat, community meeting, or other event.

The Reception Hall

The hall has a capacity of 80 for dining, perhaps less if a dance floor is planned. For assembly-type meetings, business retreats, or performances, the capacity is approximately 100. The hall also has an adjoining kitchen and outdoor patio. Tables, chairs, and technical equipment are available.

Soccer Field

We offer a large outdoor  soccer field that can be used for very large events such as soccer games, and open-air markets. The field is covered in artificial turf with a dirt track around the perimeter. The field adjoins our large parking lot.
