Dear Haiti Friends,
Carolyn Hamm has forwarded the sad news that an Agape Flights airline crashed in the mountains near Jeremie and there were no survivors.  You know Agape as the missionary flight service that carries our letters to Haiti, the only mail service available to us.  Agape is not a large ministry and I know their grief is profound.  I ask your prayers for the families of those aboard the plane and for the whole Agape family, faithful friends of Haiti and other parts of the Caribbean for the past 45 years.

May the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace and rise in glory.

Yours,

Late yesterday I learned that an Agape Flights aircraft, on a regular flight to Haiti, was lost in the mountains of Southwest Haiti .  It is not believed there were any survivors and the cause of the crash is unknown.  For those of you who are new to the Service Ministry, we used Agape Flights for many years to deliver checks and small packages to our partners in Haiti. A non-profit organization based in Venice, FL, Agape Flights served Christian field missionaries delivering mail and supplies.
Following is a brief statement from Allen Speer, their CEO that was posted on FB.: “Our hearts are broken. We grieve deeply for the families of the pilots who are now enduring an unimaginable loss,” he said. “And we ask you, our family, to lift them up in prayer for strength when the weight feels unbearable, for comfort when there are no words, and for God’s peace to surround them in every moment.”

Please keep the Agape Flights family in your prayers during this heartbreaking time.
