Dear Haiti Friends,
Below my signature please see a message from Haitian Hope regarding a phishing attack through an e-vite — you are reminded NOT to open e-vites to events you are not already aware of.  And may I say that anyone who attempts to scam Haitians or to use Haiti to scam others for profit has to be the one of the nastiest blisters on the heel of humanity.  All our best to Haitian Hope, and thank you for your prompt warning.

Canon Wilmont Merchant, chairing one of the committees mentioned in the article, has just been elected Bishop Suffragan of the Episcopal Church of Liberia, where he was born and raised.  His work in the U.S. Episcopal Church will be much missed.  He has also been a supporter of the shelter construction project in the Central Plateau, for which everyone is very grateful.  We send our congratulations as he moves to this new position.
Speaking of the shelter construction project, walls are going up!  This photo is from earlier in March.
