Dear Haiti Friends,
Information from the Haitian American Facebook page courtesy of Roger Bowen.  CONCACAF is the regional soccer organization covering North and Central America, the Caribbean, and the northern part of South America.  Needless to say, football (soccer) is a big deal in the region.  A great moment for Haitian national pride:
It’s official: Haiti vs. USA. 🇭🇹🇺🇸

The Grenadiers will face the United States in the 2026–27 Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals, with the matchup decided after the League A group stage concluded.

The quarterfinal will be played over two legs. Haiti will host the first match on Saturday, November 14, before traveling to Cincinnati, Ohio, for the second leg at TQL Stadium on Tuesday, November 17 at 7 p.m. ET.

Haiti earned its place in the final eight after finishing second in Group A with nine points, ahead of the Dominican Republic on goal difference. The Grenadiers won three of their four group-stage matches.

There’s even more at stake than a place in the Nations League semifinals. The winner of the two-leg series will also qualify directly for the 2027 Concacaf Gold Cup.

The two teams know each other well. Their most recent meeting came at the 2025 Gold Cup, when the United States defeated Haiti 2–1. Now, Haiti gets another shot—this time with a place in the Nations League Finals on the line.
